in my window to watch a robin's nest. last summer i built a shelf outside my window to support a window a/c unit. now a robin has built a nest there and she has three little blue eggs that she's caring for.

You ought to set it up for streaming. Its not hard to do. Might need some software to do it, google around if you do.

^^ i got lucky. i just realized the nest was there yesterday and decided it might be cool to keep an eye on it. unfortunately it is a night vision cam so the color isn't very good unless i cover the IR LEDs, but if i do that, i can't see at night! i'd cover and cover the LEDs every day, but i don't want to mess with the cam too much because i don't want to spook her and make her abandon her nest. as you can see, it is literally right outside my window. she's even tapped the window with her bill a few times.

^ i thought about using my old laptop to do that. is it really that easy? i could probably make that happen.
