Anyone know where I can get a reasonably high speed DC motor to make a gyro from? I'll be adding it to my camera stabilization system. I know people sell great gyros for cameras, but I don't want to spend $texas. 5/9/2010 3:06:39 AM |

Motors that run 8300RPM at no load and 3V from Radioshack for $3. 5/9/2010 9:07:40 AM |

If you just want a motor like that, go find broken or abandoned computers. Optical drives and hard drives shouldn't be too hard to come by. If nothing else, you might get a junker cheaper at surplus than a motor from Radioshack. You might also check printers for servomotors.] 5/9/2010 8:34:21 PM |
