We have tons of these little fuckers all around the outside of the house, but this one has been popping up quite a bit lately. So I ask you TWW.....What the fuck happened to his tail?

It appears to have been cut/ripped off by something.

The other day I came home and there were 2 of those bitches on my front porch. One of them had the other's head in it's mouth. Do these fuckers eat each other?

I might be biting on troll bait but don't they lose their tailes when they are frightened/picked up by their tails?

No troll bait here, I am genuinely curious. If that is the case, that's pretty fucking sweet. I love living in the country!

They fight, I believe.

Also, I'm pretty sure they can grow back lost tails, legs, etc...

some lizards loose their tail on purpose when they feel threatened so the attacker/predator will eat the tail and then the lizard gets away, they grow new ones

It will be pretty cool watching it grow back (assuming he doesn't get eaten by something)

Yeah many lizards have detachable tails.

If you grab them by the tail it comes off and keeps swinging around by itself for a few minutes.

The lizard will eventually grow another tail.

^^Lol ok.

They lose it and it still wiggles around as a defense mechanism/distraction and hopefully it can get away. I hope Geico makes a commercial regarding this phenomenon.

Well I got skinks for days out here. If anyone is looking to adopt a skink, let me know.

haha, cool--I'd try that, but don't think I could catch a lizard...they're so fast (or I'm so slow)

Well this little bastard is probably slow, hence the fact that he lost his tail.

I've always wanted to see one's tail fall off. It would be so weird to have regenerative body parts.

my project in AP Biology was testing the effects of common vitamins on Planarian regeneration. vitamin C killed them all within minutes of contact

also isnt it true that they only have regenerative capability if you split them the short way

if you split them longitudinally they die
