I was hoping to get some recommendations for my '07 G35 Sedan. Wanted to get a fairly cheap performance tire that would last about 35k to 40k
Looking to spend around $100 to $125 per tire. 5/11/2010 9:15:02 AM |

I had this car, don't get Good Year Eagles they suck ass. Well actually don't get any tires with V shaped tread because I hate them. They're loud and never seem to wear evenly. 5/11/2010 10:01:47 AM |

tirerack
07 g35 isnt really enough info because it comes up with options about premium wheels and run flats... so tell us what you have before you expect someone else to do your research for you.

Given your price range i say look at Kumho. Also, since you dont seem to care much about performance I would recommend going with an H rated tire...you have no use for anything V rated or higher. 5/11/2010 10:55:32 AM |

i have kumho ecsta asx (i think) on my daily.. i have no complaints so far. less grippy than some, but the price was good. they're decent in the dry, decent in the wet, and not too noisy...
~$100 each in your size 5/11/2010 2:25:39 PM |

I had a 07 G35 "S" sedan (with the sport package). The Good Year Eaglse I had were horrible, but because you have a 17" rim you must have the non-sport. In that case, just buy whatever is cheapest.
I've got some Kumho Ecsta ATS's on my BMW and they seem to be alright (even if they are v patterned) but they were the cheapest I could find with the local shops.
The sport model came stock with Bridgeston Potenzas and I thought they were great but very expensive to replace. 5/11/2010 4:46:11 PM |

Ugh i hate the 17" non sport wheels. Makes the car look too plain. 5/11/2010 10:46:21 PM |
