I was wondering how much someone charge to build a cd duplicator for me. Considering all parts, plus the labor that you would charge, how much would the total be? I am looking to buy one because I am considering duplicating my own music instead of charging a company to do it. Thank you. 5/15/2010 3:32:06 PM |

How many discs are we talking here?
'Cause it's quite tough to build a duplicator with more than 2-3 bays without the specialized controllers. And when you buy the controllers there's not much of a premium on just getting a straight duplicator from the company. If you need several hundred discs and you're thinking a robotic duplicator then you'd be crazy to do all those yourself - send it to musicians friend for like $2/disc.
Your best bet: Craigslist or eBay a purpose-built duplicator. 5/16/2010 1:29:16 AM |

thanks for all of the information people. I have decided that I will just be getting a company to reproduce the cd. 5/17/2010 8:07:05 AM |
