and a Shure PG 6-Piece Drum Mic Package.

It has been sitting in my closet over the past year. I'm about to start my career with the Marines and will be moving around a lot. I don't know if I will be able to play them for a long time from now. I am basically scouting interest for everything. I have spent years building this kit and it is very dear to me. I have many spare parts and pedals and a full set of (used) spare batter heads.

The set is in really good condition. I have to repair the snare catch, because the rivet popped off but that just involves me making a trip to Greensboro to get it fixed. The 12" tom has some small holes in the resonant head, but it doesn't effect the sound.

I have an Iron Cobra Double Bass Pedal on the set. I also have two Iron Cobra Single Pedals and a Mapex Double Bass Pedal. I also have Remo Roto Toms along with the set too.

Again, the set is a 2004 Series Red Wine Pearl Export. It also has a Pearl DR-503 ICON 3-sided Drum Rack. Each of the vertical pipe stands on this rack has a cymbal catch on it.

The set currently has 7 cymbals. They are: Sabian B8 14" Hi-hats, Sabian B8 18" Crash Ride, Sabian B8 20" Rde, Sabian B8 Pro 8" Splash, Sabian AA 10" Rocktagon, Wuhan 16" China and a Wuhan 10" China. The 16" Wuhan has a minor crack, but the sound is not affected. I had a Sabian B8 16" Crash, but I broke it and never replaced it. I have all of the original tripods for the cymbal stands. All the cymbals, however, are mounted on the rack.

The drum mic package includes one PG52 kick drum mic, 3 PG56 snare/tom mics, 2 PG81 instrument mics, a carrying case and 6 15' Shure mic cables. I have a microphone boom stand to attach the bass drum mic to.

I have been a drummer for almost 12 years and have done many shows I really am torn about selling this set, but if I can get a good offer for it I will part ways with it. I know it is a lot of stuff and I really don't want to sell it separately. I would like to get at least $2500 cash for everything. It is currently set up in my apartment and you can stop by to check it out if you'd like. Here are some pictures of the set (and me) in action at band practice back in 2008.

Again, I am asking cash only for this. $2500 dollars is where I am starting the pricing.

I think you'd be doing well if you got half that price. You might just want to find somewhere you can store them for a few years.

Yeah, maybe for the drums and the rack, not including cymbals and all the other stuff.

2500 bucks for an entry level set, a bunch of entry level cymbals, and some accessories? Not gonna happen.

I understand the drums have sentimental value (I have an old Rockstar Custom that I cannot bring myself to part with) but that doesn't mean they are worth much to anyone else. The pedals are sweet, and so are the drum mics, but 2500 bucks is a bit absurd.

Good luck selling it, but I think you'd be better off storing it than hoping for $2500.

Nice double bass pedal, but the even guitar center wont buy your b8's back from you; probably because they wouldn't be able to sell them themselves for anymore than $30-$40 a piece.

The mics might be worth 250 or so, but they aren't anything to write home about in terms of audio quality.

Without tons of extra clamps for the rack, it's not going to bring in much $. The friggin attachments for it are what cost $texas, and anyone already using cymbal stands is not going to find the rack very useful, without having to invest $texas in more attachments.

Good luck! It really was a nice entry-level set, but considering Pearl's new entry level set runs at 599 for a 5piece shell pack (which will sound much, much nicer than these) it's hard for anyone to justify the cost. But I definitely feel your pain, it's a shame drumming equipment doesn't hold it's value like other musical instruments like horns, pianos, etc, many of which can appreciate in value. This stuff just doesn't

I figured I wouldn't get 2500 for everything. I am just gauging TWW to see what a good price for everything is. The sentimental value does make me not want to accept any offers under 1500-2000.

I also didn't list every single accessory on the set, but the rack has many clamps for mixing and matching cymbals.

Anyway, that's my explanation for the high ass listing.

Thanks for the input.

Edit: And I figured that since I'm selling an entirely ready to go set, some of the depreciation of the equipment would have been regained by the convenience of not having to get new stuff.
