Paul Cousins

Director, Office of Student Conduct - NC State University

I grew up in Connecticut. My undergraduate degree is from UCONN in elementary education. My master's degree is in counseling psychology. I was an RA in the halls for 2 years as an undergrad and for 2 years I was a hall director as a grad student. I worked at Kansas Technical Institute, a small 2-year engineering school, for 3 years before moving to Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. I worked for Housing at Cal Poly both in the halls and then in the central office. I was there for about 6 years and came to NCSU in 1990. I have been working in the student conduct area since that time. The topic of Facebook is an important one to us in the Office of Student Conduct as it provides a window into the behaviors of our students, outside the classroom, and (they believe) outside our sphere of knowledge and influence.

The sad thing is, as bad as Cousins is, you're still a lot better off getting him to try your case as opposed to letting the power hungry student body of your "peers" try your case

Oddly enough he never got involved in the Anita Flick stuff. That was mostly the Raleigh police and her lawyers.
