there's a thread in the lounge if you feel like digging it out.

i was supposed to go last year but ended up never going. i could go this year if i pushed hard enough. I kind of do and kind of don't want to go. The job site is in the middle of one of the poorest areas in the country, the nearest hotel is 1.5 hours away, and I'd likely be there for 4-6 weeks during the rainy season.

The president of our sister company wouldn't mind going for some business development type meetings, but my current boss is holding me back in that regard.

My best friend is from India.

I told him.

He says "good fucking luck" and to "bring toilet paper".

Apparently a lot of the country uses their hand, because toilet paper is expensive and wasteful. He was not a fan whenever he was in those areas.

We landed at the Pune airport (which is also an air force base) and I thought that it would be awesome to get a picture of the "WELCOME TO PUNE" sign.

Apparently photography is prohibited as I immediately had a guy with a rifle pointed at my head as soon as I lifted my camera.

And that's all I have to say about that.
