Dude, it was VERY nice. It was the only place I've been where I saw all Chinese people actually use a knife and fork. Got fucking shrimp and fried squid. It was unbelievable.

^^^ No. It was an appetizer. We got bacon, tomato pizza and someone got one with chicken and other stuff (I only had one slice of the other pizza, but it was pretty delicious).

One of them had stuffed crust pizza, and they don't actually roll the crust up all the way. They did it a very fancy way. I was fucking impressed.

They had tiramisu and wine on the menu. It was all very fancy.

^You know how foreign-food-based restaurants here tend to be at least slightly more up-scale than home-grown corporate chains?

Same deal for American food in foreign countries. There are some nations in which McDonald's actually tries to be nice on the inside. They even use things like decor and seats that aren't covered in someone else's ass sweat.

Corn and mayo don't sound like food used very often in japan, why would they put it on pizza? Are they like "Well it's an american chain lets put some american topings on it!"?

I went to the Pizza Hut in New Delhi. Mostly vegetarian options and the pizza was pretty bad but I don't remember it being that different from other PHs. It was mostly a thing to do for the experience and to laugh among the other white people who were there.

One thing I think is hilarious is KFC has convinced the entire nation of Japan that Americans eat a bucket of fried chicken for Christmas dinner. You have to reserve your bucket of chicken weeks in advance to make sure you'll have one on Christmas Eve

china (the parts i was in) of course had many more to choose from. in hong kong i ate at a spaghetti house and i thought it was pretty gross but i still nommed some pizza. mcdonald's in hong kong made me super sick. of course i don't eat mcdonald's here so i don't know why i ate it there haha. and they served some absolutely revolting looking stuff at it

I'm actually trying to avoid McDonald's for as long as possible. It's the same shitty food they serve in the US, but some of the items are different.

Also, most Chinese people like Fried Chicken. When they ask me if I like KFC, they're extremely surprised when I tell that that I hate it with a passion (and it's true, I hate KFC).

I like trying the different menu items at McDonald's. Like the shrimp burger in Japan is A++. But I tend to stay away from the same ol' crap.
