I wouldn't cut a turtle's head off, but I don't see a big difference between this and filleting a fish or making cut bait; both of which happen thousands of times a day in NC.

I wonder how many turtles are dispatched in this same way for use in turtle soup? How else would you kill a turtle (assuming you wanted the meat to still be edible afterward).

I have a feeling a lot of snakes have been killed at all of our local lakes/parks for no reason other than the fact that they are snakes.

This happened to me one time. I get a knock on the door, and when I open it there's a very pissed off cop accusing me of killing animals. Almost scared the shit out of me. kenny davis is a housekeeper at nc state. mainly in the wolf village complex but also bragaw/lee/sullivan area. and he is fatter than he looks in the picture. i'm guessing 300 lbs.
