I'll start - I posted an ad in cell phones stating that wal-mart dropped the 3gs price to $97, and that people should sell me their old iphone for $100. I got flagged. twice. gimme a hand and maybe post a variation of that information. scammer's days of charging $200 for a 2nd gen with a cracked screen are over. also, if you know anyone with a decent condition iphone / ipod touch for $100 or less, PM me please.

you're comparing apples and oranges. the $99 iphone at walmart comes with a 2 year contract. the phones on CL do not.

and you really thought that ad was going to help you get a cheap iphone? blasting wal-mart in all caps in the subject line is SURE to be an effective way of getting an iphone

you are right from your point of view, but consider my perspective - back when i traded my iphone 2g for an xbox 360, i got tons of responses just like my ad - saying $80, $100, never anywhere near my asking price. it took me a while but i finally met up with someone with similar needs, he needed an iphone, and didn't want his basically new 360 anymore. it worked out. as always with CL you have to wade through mountains of bullshit before you reach the summit.
