Only 0.00125% of CC users will care, but I will post developments about Texas storms in this thread. Possibly with webcam as warranted.

Okay, there are some fucking stupid parents in the pool right now, with a 2-3yo with them. it's lightning all over the place, and they're just playing like nothing's going on.

A few severe storms sparked off in our western counties tonight in Texoma. Reports of 2" hail just south of Altus, OK. Once again, Lawton misses rainfall again. We also reached our first day at 100. I would really love a storm around here right about now.

its a cool 76 in my bedroom right now, fucking going outside in the heat of summer in florida. 100% humidity all the time sucks. I'd take 110 with low humidity any day of the week.

I heard some rumbles earlier, and the bricks outside are a little damp. But that's ^ a big mother of a storm.

so.. not much of a storm in my patch

saw a friend on facebook who lost power. she lives downtown

nothing happened in the NW area... just a ton of wind & rain for like 20min then it was over

60% chance of rain tomorrow... planning on working from home so i can take advantage of an afternoon nap during a thunderstorm if it hits

sweet. it rained here for a few hours, so at least the f'ing temperature wasn't at some obscene level again.

i don't much care for the Texas humidity.

the humidity makes me APPRECIATE the ac... and i better appreciate that ish.. it costs a lot this time of year!!

i really hate how it just zaps your energy but its worth it. cost of living is bomb and i love texas so i'll take the humidity

Just got finished covering a flooding event over Texoma for about 10 hours now. Storm totals of about 6-7" here in Lawton, OK. Higher amounts of 10-11" of rain were measured in the OKC metro. Definitely a long day for storms.

High pressure + high dew points + south winds = 100+ degree days with no rain and nothing to talk about during 4 minute forecasts
