i'll say [no] as well, but i don't understand owning a crapton of DVDs anyway. i prefer to rent, or just pay for Netflix. that said, i'm also aware that the OP isn't in the States, so that changes the equation for him.

also, B5 was some of the best sci-fi writing in the 90s, and deserves props.

i heard it gets much better in seasons 2 and 3, but man, i could barely make it through the first season.

at this point i think i'd rather watch DS9, which is pretty much the same show anyway.

i wouldn't pay it. that's $20 per season. if it were more recent, MAYBE, but let's be honest... the value of that series has seriously depreciated since the peak of it's popularity. i could possibly see $50 for the set.

^^ 2, 3 and 4 were its peak. season 5 would have been, too, if there'd been more certainty about it when they were working on season 4.

Yeah the CGI and acting sucks. Plus can't you watch it all online somewhere? I mean it was cool when it was on UPN and TV sucked otherwise, but there are better soap operas out there.
