FWIW, I am driving a fully loaded 09 Lexus ES350 right now. I absolutely hate it. A Ford Escort has more feedback in the brakes and the steering wheel... I understand it's a luxury vehicle and you want to make things "comfortable." However, the steering wheel feels disconnected beyond the steering shaft and the brakes are like walking on grapes in a giant bucket (mushy...)

But it is a spacious ride with nice fit and finish... And the engine is very nice... But damn... that's all that appears to be going for it, imo.

Well, it's a loaner vehicle for a day. I'm not too worried, but it's got the wife thinking about possibly considering trading in for a preowned IS350 (which I'm meh about) or a preowned 335i...

yeah... I'm looking at 335i's right now... I guess she liked the extra 100 horses
