The regular Crest Whitening toothpaste has always worked very well for me. They also leave no "aftertaste" at all. But I've been very intrigued with the Crest 3D White. And I usually do a short morning "brush", then drink my coffee...then go for the heavy brush before I go to work. So that shouldn't effect me too much.
