James Taylor - Carolina in my mind. Incidentally I've been in NC so long that upon hearing the first few bars of this song my blood pressure goes through the roof and I start smashing things in the general direction of the radio until the awful noise stops.

Kinda like Hootie and the Blowfish back in the day, not a bad song, just overplayed.

the lyrics are annoying at best

i could see enjoying a cover of it with some altered lyrics, as the song itself isn't awful
