OK my tooth is killing me and currently have no dental insurance. I live in cary but will go anywhere reasonable. Need a dentist that has good payment options, because honestly i am just about broke right now. Just started a new job and it will be a little while until benefits kick in unfortunately but my tooth pain is too much right now. I have a few days off/short days next week just need to get this taken care off.
I have a filing that came out a few years ago (I know I know) and recently i have just had the worst pain, that extends halfway throughout my jaw..........
so recommendations?? 6/16/2010 8:57:51 AM |

Taylor Family Dentistry on Fayetteville Rd. near Wake Tech. They're very nice and take great care of you. I noticed the last time that I was there that they have flexible payment options.

my orthodontist does this, so his wife (who also has her own practice) might do it too.
check out Gladwell Orthodontics. 6/16/2010 9:42:32 AM |

There's always the UNC Dental School. I had some work done there before and it was a fine experience. 6/16/2010 9:47:37 AM |

I go to Dr. Quinlivan in Cary. His office offers care credit, don't know how well that works since I haven't had to use it. They were good at getting me in quick, even though I didn't have any urgent issues. I guess when it's been 5 years since your last cleaning they always assume there will be urgent issues. If you google him his home phone # comes up, but the office is 919.467.8111 6/16/2010 9:49:08 AM |

At UNC if you want to go to the student clinic you have to fill out forms every month to enter the patient lottery until you are picked. It's a huge hassle and not good if you need urgent care. They might have a walk in clinic you can go to, otherwise it's a huge PITA. 6/17/2010 9:54:35 AM |

Went to Dr. Quinlivan and getting wisdom pulled. Explained everything, nice guy. And also just happened to be very close to my house, like walking distance.
Need to wait to have some more work done, but he is very laid back and doesn't seem like he needs work, like they have plenty of patients already. 6/29/2010 6:16:51 PM |
