I got a cease and desist letter from Velcro back when I worked for a newspaper. I took a photo of a kid at a fall festival jumping on one of those Velcro walls, so my caption said as much. Apparently, Velcro took exception to that description and insisted that they did not condone such activity, and as such, I should have used "hook and loop material" to describe the suit the kid was wearing.

I still have the letter saved somewhere.

But the letter in this thread is more amusing.

He's probably an in-house attorney and gets paid a salary. Therefore he was getting paid whether or not he wrote the letter.
