my cousin last year had her senior prom. she called me screaming about how she found a dress in a thrift store that looked like it came out of a night at the roxbury
she said it was flashy and damnit she was wearing it.
when it was all said and done we laughed because her shoes cost 10-12x more than the dress.
but i liked it

our senior year they let you walk down the grand stairway and announced your name. you could have anyone you want escorting you. so while he wasn't my date, he was my esscort.

I like a lot of these dresses. I also like the way they're coming off in groups. So much better than the boring shit we used to pull off.

I really don't like young children to be into materials like clothes and whatnot, but one of the benefits of getting into fashion early is that our young women seem to be developing a more independent/confident sense of style.

I think it's also important to note that we're in a recession.
