Bourbon. I was three. It knocked me out for a long time. I drank my grandad's drink while it was unattended. My parents were less than thrilled.

Recreationally, screwdrivers with my best friend when I was 11 or 12.

oh! i almost forgot! when i was 12yo i had hiccups that wouldn't go away (fucking 3hrs and still going), and my mom's cousin told me to take a spoonful of honey. so he gets me a spoonful of "honey" out of a mason jar. i took it and coughed/gagged and then he told me it was moonshine

i guess that's the first drink i ever had

when I was like 15 I was at a friends house and he told me I had to do a shot of tequila with him and another one of my friends

but it had to be "mexican style". Which meant he poured the shot, put it in the microwave for 15-30 seconds, then we took the shot. It burned like shit going down, then when you take your first breath after the shot it freezes all the way down

I have never heard of another person on the planet putting tequila in the microwave, or heard anyone call such a thing having it "mexican style"

oh well, its been downhill ever since....well up until around 7 months ago

did the old steal a friend's parents' alcohol and refill with water technique.

didn't get caught, drank enough to get dizzy and fall asleep and remember feeling nauseated for a little while after.

didn't really drink again until summer after my sophomore year at summer ventures. I think it was heineken we were drinking. after that, i spent the rest of high school trying really really hard to acquire and drink as much alcohol as possible.

First time I drank to get drunk:

Stole grandpa's half gallon of vodka and drank with my brother and two cousins in his backyard.

Beer, bought 2 40s of bud light and a bottle of jack. Told mom I was going to some girl's birthday party in the neighborhood, instead went with 3 friends and got completely hammered. Mom comes to pick us up and watched us stumble out of the woods drunk as hell. Never said anything about it though.

My dad used to mix cheap whiskey and coke about 1/2 and 1/2 (he still does but it's better whisky now).

I was probably 10 when I picked up his glass and chugged about 1/2 of it (didn't know liquor was mixed in it). I was like "UGH this stuff is awful!" and my dad just laughed at me.

My mom let me have a taste of her beer when I was three or four to put me off drinking. I think it was Bud from a bottle.

A bunch of us snuck away from Leanne Hancock's birthday party when I was a teenager. Those kids had some cheap liquors. I drank something in a Dr. Pepper, don't rightly remember what. I figured I didn't like those kids anyway and booked after I finished it.

At the FBLA convention in Orlando in high school (at least, I think it was there), I carefully opened the mini-bar without breaking the plastic lock, and we helped ourselves to the liquor in there. I had some Absolut citron in a can of NuGrape, which was the shit. I still drink that on rare occasions.

The first drink I had when I started drinking seriously as an adult, though, was a heady concoction of punch and rum (I believe) followed by a couple of highballs of warm Maker's Mark. That was provided by kiljadn, believe it or not.
