nah, I'm on my own secured wifi network, and it works fine once I login, just when i go to the login page. No other websites are doing it.

Why don't you login (or select "English" from the bottom and then login) and tough it out until you can get to the settings.

Change your language from English(Upside down) to English(US).

I saw the upside down thing like you were talking about. Weird. I guess it was the default when I wasn't logged in, but then it was fine. Oh well, all is well. It never really bothered me. It was just quirky as hell.
