Only impartial participants please....

So phish just played the other night, and the world cup has been on so I have a question for all that are fans of neither

Who is more annoying,

1. phish fans who try to convince you that phish is the greatest thing ever
2. soccer fans who try to convince you that soccer is the greatest thing ever

(personal note: i wont be participating since i hate phish and love soccer, so my vote would be biased)

soccer fans don't usually talk to non soccer fans about soccer UNTIL sports are brought up.

Phish fans will not shut up when they are high which is 95% of the time

i would never bother with either one so here's my take: while phish fans LOVE some phish, you can usually drown them out with the tv/stereo/xbox and kinda block them out - soccer fans are like cokeheads pounding yeagerbombs while doing lines of adderal standing on the end of an aircraft carrier in wartime the way they get loud, red in the face, and shrill when you're not 100% bro'ong it up on their side.

I base this on the Face Punch factor.

Despite the loud insistence of many soccer fans, I find they don't annoy me so much because I see the other side of the fence too often. Because of the area I live in, soccer is somehow seen as un-American or something, as is hockey (big hockey fan), and it's "for nancies". Therefore I see soccer fans are doing combat with this other annoying behavior with their own. That seems reasonable to me. Therefore I can conclude there is no one I have ever wanted to punch in the face just for being a soccer fan.

On the other hand, Phish fans face only negative response to them being so annoying, not some kind of natural opposition to their species. They evolved and adapted to out-annoy even the best Sublime fans, and they wouldn't even pause if a high-schooler wearing a Hot Topic Pink Floyd discount rack shirt told them about how "Dark Side of the Moon is my favorite song" (grh grh get it right) and even Smashing Pumpkins fans would rather not even talk to Phish fans. My point is, they're a blight upon our musical ecosystem, and I've been motivated to therefore punch them in the face every time and all the time.

So Phish fans are officially more annoying.
