Here's my problem:
I just set up a hadoop cluster at work. Each machine on the cluster has an externally visible IP, so I can ssh into any of them whenever (pretty convenient).
One of the machines, for some reason, whenever I reboot it, sshd apparently doesn't work until somebody logs in locally. In other words, if I reboot the machine remotely then I can't ssh back in (somebody has to log the machine in locally for it to start working).
Looked in /etc/init.d and ssh is in there. Baffled. Anybody see this problem before and have any insight? TIA 7/2/2010 3:23:55 PM |
