The celebration will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds located at 1025 Blue Ridge Blvd Raleigh, NC 27616 on Sunday, July 4, 2010. Activities will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

The entertainment schedule is as follows. Schedule times are approximate and could change.



5:00-5:30 Lille Bronze

5:45-6:15 Karim Farmer

6:30-7:00 Graffiti Monkeys

7:15-7:45 Triangle Taiko Drummers

8:00-8:30 NC Vibe

8:45-9:15 Clock Struck 12



Admission, parking and activities are free of charge. No pets, alcohol or coolers will we allowed. General Public Parking will be available at Gate 4 and handicap parking will be available Gate 9.

i was just looking on google maps and mentioned that out loud to people that that looks like a good place to just show up at 915 and chill for 20 mins then leave without dealing with traffic

meredith was pretty cool for watching the fireworks. You wind up missing a lot of the fair traffic too. Wound up just getting a hotdog at snoopys.

fairground wasn't that great. Enjoyed the mud cats fireworks the other night though.

durham bulls fireworks were pretty good, only cause they set them off in the outfield so they're exploding right on top of you. Traffic sucked balls leaving though, so we just wasted an hour walking/hanging around american tobacco campus.

^ yea i went last night. they were better than i expected but OMG traffic blew last night too and severely cut into my birthday downtown time
