I prefer Coke b/c it has more of an edge, feels sharper to me. Pepsi is sweeter and at the same time softer. For the most part I stay away from Pepsi.

I dunno...I prefer regular Pepsi...diet Coke. Diet Pepsi tastes like ass, so does regular Coke. Your preferences may vary.

usually i would prefer pepsi, but sometimes i do crave a coke. i don't drink that much of either one, though. water most of the time for me and sometimes some sweet tea.

Yeah, I much prefer pepsi to coke.

Coke is too carbonated for me. Too much mouthfeel.

coke has too much carbonation and not enough sugar

so I prefer pepsi

but apparently so many people had become accustomed to coke that 25 years ago when the new formula was brought out, to taste like pepsi and the rest of the colas, people hated it

Yep. And get the Mexican Coke in the glass bottle from Costco--it's even better.

I tend to like Pepsi a lot better just because coke consistently dries my mouth out after I drink it. No other soda does that to me.

Both are boring as hell sodas, though. Default "cola" flavor has nothing on Dr Pepper, Sprite/Sierra Mist, or really any other flavor of soda out there.

it's the difference between the vanilla, orange and lemon amounts in each

Pepsi is more lemony, and it uses vanillin rather than vanilla

[Edited on July 9, 2010 at 10:42 PM. Reason : maybe you prefer orange]
