Rouge coaches making rouge decisions. Gotta wonder how the relationship is between Folt and Fedora given this news. Maybe he will take his fake ass southern accent to an SEC school after this season.

If he was a true friend he would have understood when you said "Look man I would like to help you out but as I am sure you are aware our public reputation is in the dumpster right now and while I believe your story you can see how that would look pretty shady and right now we can't have that type of PR issue."

everybody keeps putting words in Fedora's mouth with the "he was trying to help a friend" shit. When pressed about it by the media he was like "fuck y'all i can hire whoever i want, the reports from Illinois were bullshit".

man, the state of NC really has a culture, school after school. I remember back when NC was thought of as the progressive southern state, but with all of this keeping to pop up, McCrory being elected, NC losing events left and right because they'd rather hate... they are the new state of Alabama.

Still ongoing, seems like UNC and the Orange Co. DA declined to pursue it.

BTW same orange county DA that dropped criminal charges against Nyangoro and Crowder for "cooperating" with the NCAA.

That police/investigators told the suspect not to sweat it and keep playing football. One of the investigators even went to a social gathering with the players.

All tweets from Andrew Carter (@_andrewcarter):
Quote :
""Six months ago my (client) was raped," Robinson's lawyer says in opening statement. "... The university has done nothing."

Robinson's lawyer says Orange County DA, Jim Woodall, has said that charges will not be filed. And so she's seeking to self-serve warrants.

"This man raped me and police told him not to sweat it," Delaney says. "How can this happen?"

Delaney: "What other cases are being swept under the rug by the university?" Says she's taking a stand so that it inspires change.

This case went through UNC's Title IX office, and investigative process.

"The university violated its own new Title IX provisions," Delaney's lawyer, Denise Branch, says. Alleging that UNC botched case.

Then again, a white woman accused a black man of a crime and he wasn't shot. So there's that.

UNC needs to do the right thing and take him off of the team while an actual investigation and trial is held. Paying players and faking grades is already unthinkable, but letting a player get away with doing something this terrible is an entirely different level.

Edit: read the article, looks like he was already suspended.

Gee, I was born there, have family that still lives, and I went to college there for a few years and I never once thought of the state being 'progressive'. Compared to Mississippi or Arkansas, maybe, but that's really not saying a whole lot, now is it?

The state's not really progressive. There's pockets of the state, like Orange County and parts of Asheville, that could be called that. Unfortunately the economic boom of areas like the Triangle and Mecklenburg County has hardly spread to the rest of the state.

not really but it's a nice summary. people still don't know the full extent of what they did. shit, I don't think we'll ever know the full extent.

my friend works for a major news station and says that they're going to air the rape story this weekend. apparently the national network sent a crew down to interview the victim. should get a lot of press

popcorn.

NCAA has scheduled a procedural hearing for Oct 28 with UNC about issues that UNC raised in their NOA response. A ruling should come within 2 months of that according to some tweets I've seen.

That is a great article. Too bad the average UNC fan is too incompetent to read and understand 10% of it. Hopefully this actually leads to a real and effective punishment for the holes.
