About time for some new tires for the g8gt. Size is 245-45-18. Budget is a max of about $200 per tire. Ive had decent experiences with - Bridgestone KDA - Michelin Pilots - Continental
Was thinking about some Advans, maybe some Nitto Invo's (good price, not so sure about the performance) Open to summer and all seaon tires. Only brand I have had bad experiences with are Hankook.
Any brands or styles you guys have had good experiences with? Mileage isnt a huge concern but would like to get at least 20k out of them. Decent all around tires. 7/15/2010 7:13:51 PM |

what are your aims for the tire.. Decent all around could really mean anything.
Stick with what you know.. Michelin pilots are a great tire...
You say bad experience with hankook but i have hankook ventus v12 evos right now and they are honestly the best tires i have ever run on the car.. ive run everthing from goodyear gsd3s to summitomo htrz's 7/15/2010 11:22:39 PM |

Car is a daily driver so they have to be able to handle rain and relatively cold temps, did have to deal with a little snow up here this year as well but Im not sure I want all seasons based on 1 or 2 days a year.
Mostly driven moderatly with the occasional thrashings. 7/16/2010 6:36:35 AM |

I've been pretty happy with my Continental ExtremeContact high performance all season tires. I've had them on the Integra for a while and they're surprisingly good in the snow.
(they also held their own at a mud-ridden RallyX as well ) 7/16/2010 11:20:19 AM |

MXV4 is not exactly a performance oriented tire. Pilot Sports will give you a great compromise b/w comfort/performance and longevity, the only downside is price. It's not a true track tire, but I'd be surprised if you got them to overheat on the street. 7/16/2010 5:45:56 PM |

Damnit, picked up a set of Continental all seasons, was getting them put on, noticed a slice in one of them where some moron with a box cutter slipped. Hopefully discount tires customer service wont be a pain. 7/24/2010 11:17:16 AM |
