Around NCSU you can find a decent townhouse that isn't in the ghetto for about $900-$1000 total. Power will run you about $120 in the summer if you crank AC.
I used to live in Country Club Apts near 5 points- 1 bedroom, kitchen, good size living room and paid $650/month....it was way more awesome than living around NCSU and only about a 7 minute drive to campus. 7/17/2010 5:18:51 PM |

water & sewer $70 bi monthly
electricity in peak summer $130 (AC kept at 76), in winter $75
gas heater & water heater $15 in summer, $70 in winter
2 people live here, all energy efficient bulbs...but we need new windows and could probably replace insulation in the attic.

I lived off Powell Drive at Ashworth Townes for $700 a month and loved it. Electricity was around 115 in the summer and 70 in the winter...water was 15 and sewer was 15. 7/17/2010 5:29:10 PM |
