I might have to go with Humble Pie or 518 West.

Is it bad I've never been to any of those restaurants?
Actually, I may have been to 518 West many years ago with my ex-boyfriend. 7/19/2010 1:14:51 PM |

my stepmom's
for restaurants though, I've only had them at Michael Deans and they were good, but there's no way they're the best. 7/19/2010 3:01:51 PM |

Wow I'm surprised Lucky 32 is still around at all. I used to be neighbors with the owner and he always seemed like he was drunk 7/19/2010 7:26:51 PM |

I don't think there is anything you could do to grits to make them appetizing to me- that gritty feeling gets me every time 7/19/2010 7:30:11 PM |

I have tried shrimp and grits lots of places, Blu seafood's shrimp and grits is fairly simple, but good. They use fresh shrimp, but no sausage/sauce etc. The best I have found in this area is actually at Glenwood grill. Lucky32, not so much, michael deans is so so. 7/19/2010 8:10:41 PM |

I don't know how I lived in Raleigh for almost 20 years and hadn't heard of Humble Pie until recently. Same goes for The Rockford. 7/19/2010 9:44:02 PM |
