So, I'm in the kitchen and saw the TV in the living room playing a commercial. With the music and the way it was shot, I thought it was a Dexter promo on a cable tv channel for some reason. So I walk into the living room and notice that even though it is shot the same, and used similar mood music (it obviously wasn't the same as the Dexter title but I thought they were using some separate music for the promo since it still closely matched music I would expect from Dexter), the images didn't match up with anything I would expect from Dexter. Turns out it was a promo for Project Runway of all shows...WTF.

Sorry if this is old. Just seems really strange and stupid since the mood of the preview for PR is really out of place. Just makes it even weirder that they basically ripped the Dexter intro off.

at first i was thinking that it could be directed by the same title designer, but i doubt it. it definitely reflects his style, but it's a little too blatant. i'm sure he would want to do something different for another project. whoever did it, they were certainly influenced by the work done on dexter.

digital kitchen is a firm responsible for the dexter title sequence and many other projects for tv and project runway isn't listed as one of their projects, so yeah, looks like a rip off to me
