I've tripped up on 6 lately, but usually have a great history with that one. I'm pretty hardcore
about 1-7,9, and 10, imo.

Definition of Ride the Brand:
Quote :
"The history of the American West is filled with these kinds of phrases that reveal the nature of the men and women who came west. "Ride for the brand" in the words of the western writer, Louis L'Amour, was "an expression of loyalty to a man's employer or the particular outfit he rode for. It was considered a compliment of the highest order in an almost feudal society. If a man did not like a ranch or the way they conducted their affairs he was free to quit, and many did, but if he stayed on, he gave loyalty and expected it."

Its loyalty to your 'employer' (and it goes both ways). If you are working for a company, work for the company - don't half ass it or only be there looking for the next opportunity.

According to the Code of the West, I'm pretty much a waste of space.

1. I'm a wuss.
2. Just git r done.
3. I'm easily bored.
4. Ok. So, I got this one down pat.
5. Warm and squishy inside.
6. 50/50
7. Job? What's that?
8. Uhm. Have you ever read my posts? Probably not. tl/dr
9. But most things are.
10. Lines are mean to be drawn. . .in the sand.
