bermuda if you want clean and upper scale nice places with great beaches.

jamaica if you want cheap drinks, all the drugs you could ever hope for and the chance of being shot unless you are on sandals resort or somewhere you have to pay $texas.

St, Thomas is nice...fairly clean and cheap. St. John is the place to be but you are gonna payyyyy to be there.

cause the last few times ive gone with people i had to listen to them bitch about things not going as planned. i hate stressing out over making sure everyones happy. so im going on a spur of the moment trip next week and not telling anyone

i disagree. my brother and i met lots of people in costa rica who were solo traveling. if you stay in hostels vs. hotels you'll meet plenty of people to hang out with

well im flying into montego bay on saturday, getting there at 8pm

was just in Jamaica...loved it considering that for my whole life I'd been warned not to bother. Given, I think we got lucky in the sense that we picked the right place for us. We went to Couples Negril which is in a bay so we just laid in the ocean all day long and drank. Montego Bay is probably good for someone going alone cause there's a lot more hotels and shit there....but yah, be careful not to venture out by yourself alone cause them areas aren't that safe man.

haha I love how people are terrified of Jamaica like the plague is there. I have been twice. Flown into Montego Bay then off to Ocho Rios. I absolutely love that place. Hands down my favorite country I have ever been to in the Caribbean followed by St. Maarten.

Make your way away from a resort or anything like that and just walk around and mingle with the people. My favorite part was probably walking around the market and meeting the locals and hanging out with them. Everyone there is just laid back as fuck and just want to chill all day.

Don't be afraid to walk up to someone and chill and talk. A fist pound and a respect and you are in. The boogy man isn't there. Don't worry.

ya, i aint skurred. i did the same thing in costa rica last december, wandered around to different places with just a backpack. ill probably do some touristy things but generally i try to blend in. ill be staying in hostels all week

Yeah I might stay in Montego 2 nights and Negril 3 or something like that. Don't really have any interest in going to Kingston.
