if your phone was jailbroken, it'd be easy. just go to /var/mobile/Library/SMS/sms.db and clear everything out.if not, the only way i know of to do it is to edit the sqlite db that itunes backs up (3d0d7e5fb2ce288813306e4d4636395e047a3d28.mddata) to remove the messages and then restoring from backup.

while you're at it you should go to /etc/ and add the contents of this file to the end of "hosts": http://pgl.yoyo.org/as/serverlist.php?hostformat=hosts&showintro=0&useip=0.0.0.0&mimetype=plaintextyour web browsing will be faster and you will see fewer ads
