They seem to run about $50 vs. $130 for the US edition.

don't know anyone who used the international edition but i remember not even using the book that much. it was a waste of money.

don't know anything about the intl edition, but i do know we used that book every damn day. I don't know what kind of steel design class bluemoon took where they didn't use the manual that often. the book is far from a waste of money, 130 bucks is a lot cheaper than what it would cost after you graduate. I've bought 2 or 3 international additions of books before and noticed no difference between them and the US edition.
