I see
1x computer speakers
2x wireless keyboard/mouse
1x android charging
1x blackberry charging (and a message apparently)
1x kindle charging
2x wifi adapter signal/link
2x pc power/disk
7x UPC status/load
12x drobo, 4 drives 80% capacity
1x laptop battery charging
1x monitor standby

31, and I have 4 or 5 more possible, except they're already charged/off

I find it hard to believe you don't have more lights than that. Just realized that I forgot about the fire detector.

None. Unless you count the street lights you can kind of see through the curtains. iphones don't have any lights when they are being charged. My computers are in my office so I don't see them. We don't keep a tv in the bedroom.

Is this just in your view, or in your whole house?

In the bedroom its just the 2 alarm clock displays and the damn TV because my wife can't sleep without it, but I put the sleep timer on that bitch. Can also see the night light down the hallway for the boys.

are you talking that we can see or just on in the house/apt period?

computers, tvs, etc. are all completely off (not standby) when not in use so no lights from them when we sleep.

The only things I can think of that are on in our house when we sleep are our smoke and CO detectors and the digital clocks on the microwave and oven.

2 alarm clocks

I can't sleep if there is too much light. We keep our ceiling fan on ALL THE TIME, all seasons. Can't sleep without it on.

alarm clock but i turn that facing away from my bed

computer charger but i put that under the bed

i actually sleep with my blinds open, which seems odd but we live in the woods so it gets super dark anyway and i don't mind the natural light/moonlight. i like it and i like to be able to look outside and see the trees.

Glow from the XBox power cord thingy. Also the laptop power cord. And my TV remote glows in the dark so you gotta flip it over.

If I had a larger place, I'd probably move these electronics elsewhere. But it's aight.

If you mean visible ones then none except the alarm clock, and sometimes I even cover that one with a book

I'm not about to find all the LED's in my house.

All the lights are off when I go to sleep, except for the alarm clock. The alarm clock has a dimmer function, though. The computer is on in the other room, but I can't see that in the master bedroom. With the door open I can hear it, though. It's a nice low level humming sound and works as white noise.

Two lights in my bedroom: smoke detector and the "off" (red) light on the Wii.

My TV has a light on when it's off, but I put a piece of electrical tape over it. My VCR (yeah its still hooked up though I never use it) also has electrical tape over the clock. My stereo has a lot of lights on even when it's turned off but I keep it unplugged whenever it's not being used.

Basically my bedroom is pitch black darkness most of the time. The blinds are always down over the windows and I keep the navy blue curtains drawn most of the time.

I like complete darkness. My TV has a tiny red light but it doesn't bother me. The DirecTV box is a bright blue light and I sometimes forget to turn it off and when I wake up at night it bothers me.

Also, not about this but I like complete darkness and a fan. Without either of those two, I have trouble falling asleep.

[Edited on August 8, 2010 at 9:49 PM. Reason : i dont even have an alarm clock. use my iphone.]

yea... this has been quite interesting. Lots of people like it 100% dark apparently.

I have just my bedroom to myself, the rest is kinda 'community' with the people I live with. But yea - I'm paranoid about my computer. It stays on 24/7 pinging our servers and monitoring the offsite backup status through the night. The UPS, drobo, and wifi/wireless keyboard submit 90% of the lights. And no sissy UPS either - it's a rackmount deal lying just off the floor on props for cooling. Can run my junk for ~6 hours without breaking a sweat. No alarm clock here.

Ironically I was thinking back and when I lived with my parents before college I had only 1 light in my room from the LED on my phone charger. No TV or anything back then. Wild how things change

i even have some gym pants laid at the bottom of my bedroom door and also hanging down from the top hinge to prevent some light that sneaks in through the crevices

Gf's laptop (has a charging led and the power chord has an led too for some reason)
Wii power light (TKE-Teg mentioned this style before)
my laptop charging light
DVD player power off light
tv power off light
gf's desktop power light (we cover this up 80% of the time though)
my phone whenever it decides to light up in the middle of the night (text/call/words-with-friends incoming word)
powerstrip light x 2
sometimes light underneath the door if we leave the hallway light on

2x on my keyboard
1x in my PSU (i hate this one and wish I had known it was in it before I bought it from newegg)
1x alarm clock

the sun hits my bedroom window pretty early every day, so I've been known to sleep with an eye mask on.

The only one in my room is my alarm clock. Unless it's a day when the TV in there is plugged in, then there will be the little LED standby light on that. But that's like once a month.
