This is pretty common in China. They have Earthquakes and mudslides a lot in some areas. It's just not reported often in the US. However, 337 people, that's one of the smaller ones I've heard about. I've heard about some that have killed upwards of 1000 people. Not to say that this isn't bad or sad, or anything like that.

Just saying I'm not surprised.
