Can anyone else with roadrunner check directv.com and see if their site is going super slow for you? It worked great for me while I was at work where we use a different ISP, and my family in Wilmington using a different ISP can access it no problem.

Seems suspicious that its super slow for me on TWC/Roadrunner, makes it almost impossible to finish signing up for Directv.

One more reason I hate that POS company (TWC).

Lets see... I'm at work, the page loads immediately with no delay, I can view packages, customize packages, etc -- no problem at all. I leave work, drive the 30 minutes home, go on the directv page to pull up the packages to show my girlfriend -- oh look, literally takes 1 minute (no exaggeration) to load just the main page. Trying to load the packages results in the page timing out. Every other website works great. I call my family who uses a different provider -- the page works great, no delay what-so-ever. I call another friend who does not use TWC -- page works great for him. I try it again with TWC, super slow, times out, unable to look at packages.

After I have checked all of these things, I then post here to see if anyone else with TWC has this same problem. Obviously, I just automatically blamed them right? /sarcasm.

For what it is worth, I ended up calling Directv and speaking to a rep on the phone about the packages -- he said he has had a lot of complaints from TWC/road runner customers trying to order on their website. If you call TWC and ask about why they are throttling Directv's website, they give you a spiel about how "Oh a lot of people have problems with their website, it is very unreliable, one of the many reasons people prefer TWC over them, yada yada yada" Such BS. Seems to me like TWC is intentionally throttling the website to try and deter people from switching providers.

TWC doesn't throttle Dishnetwork's website. I just went to directtv's main page and it didn't take long to get that page loaded.

im on twc and the only parts that load even close to slow are the flash parts because its flash.
