I basically stopped listening because Ant goes too far. He needs a check like Patrice Oneal and now that he's gone no one else has the balls to call him on his nonsense.

Another career ruined on twitter. If he had waited it to out to bitch about it on the air no one would have cared.

Given the current social climate it's sort of amazing he was still employed considering his, um, controversial, views on race and how open he was about them. SiriusXM may have been looking to off the show anyway and this was a convenient way to do it.

Wonder what Opie/Jimmy do now? Does the show even go on? What happens to the O&A channel? Maybe on a podcast or some other format.

^^If you had a Sirius radio you never had them. Sort of like if you had an XM radio you could not get Howard. Only the newest dual band units can get both and I think you had to have a higher level account for it or something.

I actually really liked the show, and Anthony for that matter, even if he was incredibly way off in certain instances, this one included. I agree, he has been looking at other options for a while now, and this might be the stepping stone he needed in order to branch off to pod casts, but I don't think I will like his own show though with out the counterparts of Opie and Jimmy to reel him in when he starts getting ridiculous again. sucks that everyone else involved with the show now are in a state of limbo all because Ant went full out nutso on twitter, but it is something that they loved talking about on the show (how social media can destroy someone's career).

i'll be real interested to see how this all plays out.

the addition of Biggie on 2 guys named Chris was huge. Show was fuddy duddy and he brought some great ideas and off the wall comments that make me lol. Also he does the call screening. For example the other day Chris Kelly was talking about how much he hated people that dug holes on the beach because of the dangers associated with it, and Biggie put through a call from a guy who loves digging holes on the beach just to troll Chris Kelly. Its a few good laughs on my way to work which is more than anybody else has to offer. Really wish I had satellite for Stern though.

Music on basic radio is generally awful
