perhaps some details would help? How long you'll be in Miami, what your budget is, what types of things your family likes to do, are there a bunch of kids or mostly old people, where are you staying, etc etc etc

thanks for the ideas so far. we'll be here for a week and don't really have a budget or anything. we don't have a bunch of kids, but we have senior citizens and they're not really beach people...maybe that helps?

we'll definitely go to the seaquarium and maybe the everglades park.

Also go down to brickell and check out blue martini. Walk around Coconut grove and check out the gardens in coral gables

Aventura mall is another good choice.
