suspensions, and risky casual sexual behavior.

The problem op is forgetting is that courting takes tons and tons of hours out of the teens time. Its not as simple as just having sex. These kids waste hours and hours of time building up to and following sex. Then theres not enough time to focus on school.

Yeah! We should lock all our teens in chastity belts until they graduate high school so they can concentrate on their studies and come out of high school well adjusted individuals who are ready for college!

Studies like this piss me off It's not the actual act of sex that causes bad grades, it's the type of kids who engage in it. Teens that have the discipline to only have sex with romantic partners are most likely going to have the discipline to study and get their work done. Teens who have "hook ups" and "bed buddies" obviously like to have a good time and fuck around. They, therefore, are less likely to concentrate on school work. I'm pretty sure it's been like this for decades.
