I've had several FS threads going and have given out my info and times that I can meet to the following TWW'ers. I've given accounts of when i work to best fit a meetup time. I have yet to use CL to avoid sketchy people.

I just moved in and haven't had any friends come over. My roommates friends have not come over. The only people that even know that I'm here or have been in my room are from TWW.

9:00 I left my house
10:41 Last time utorrent had a connection to my home server.
12:20 Came back and noticed my front door was unlocked, my room was open, and my router and switch were unplugged and laying around. I figured I must have knocked it the night previously and didn't pay it any mind.

I've given out my detailed info to about 10 people, but only the following have been inside my room and know where my xbox was and specifically when I'm gone during the week:

If I had to guess, I would guess rokko211 - who never gave me any personal info and walked into my house without calling. I'm not sure if he personally took it, but he just as easily could have given my info to someone else.

All the person grabbed was my xbox 360 slim, 2 controllers, and a few select games. He skipped over everything else I had for sale, including $200 worth of blu-rays. He didn't grab my monitors, golf clubs, or anything. He didn't even grab all of my xbox games, just the ones worth the most money. He didn't take anything of my roommates or anything in the hallways.

I have the mac address of the xbox and the console ID. I'll be filing the police report after I call MS to get a detailed list of my serial and last known connection.

I'll keep TWW updated.

Pretty sure it was theitalian. Your story sounds a lot like someone else's on here who had an LCD monitor stolen last year. They had given out their address and info to several people on here including the italian, and the monitor was mysteriously gone a few days later. His real name is Wayne Rogers...pm Ernie for his current contact info; they used to be roommates.

Trying to get people you don't know in trouble based on a hunch.

Still, that sucks. Anybody who had lived there before could likely have made a copy of the house key and just come back later after scoping the place out to make sure nobody is home.

There's plenty of sketch people on TWW, though. Not sure if any of those folks actually are.

Had one guy act like he really wanted to rent the room I was moving out of and try to convince me to get the landlord to waive the security deposit. Yeah... fuck off. Sketchy ass motherfuckers.

I've known my roommates for years.

No one would walk into a 8 person house on the street and try to open all the doors before getting to the third door on the second floor. Then steal only my xbox and a few select games (which were not in immediate view). And would not grab the blu-rays or my golf clubs or any of my other shit in the hallway that was worth more.

I don't mean to accuse all 3, but I'm 100% sure it was one of them. I got everything cleared up on Microsoft's end and will file a complete police report tomorrow.
