My bosses buy my lunch every day, and I get to pick the restaurant. It's nice.

I bring my lunch to work every day. I usually have bagels with peanut butter and juice and a yogurt for breakfast. Sometimes a granola bar instead of the bagels.

I have something small for breakfast with the kids before I leave in the morning, and I bring lunch every day.

My wife got it down to below a buck a day for my lunch, depending on what was in it.

hells yes. i order them by the case from amazon

for breakfast ill normally do one of the following:

smoothie + toast
ham/bacon egg cheese sandwich
bojangles or mcds (*try* to keep this to once every couple weeks)

i take my lunch 2-3 times a week, and my favorite is making a monster batch of dank chunky marinara with whole week pasta (and in freezing single servings).

Breakfast, I'll bring an apple, milk cream cheese, and bagel into the office. read my morning emails while eating that.

lunch, sometimes I'll bring it in (leftovers). But I usually just run to the deli across the business park and get a sammich, chips, and drink there.

i almost always take my lunch to work (unless they're feeding me at some meeting or whatnot). probably not under $1 per lunch, but certainly under $2.

and breakfast, i'll eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal before going to work.

I bring my lunch to campus. :X It's always extra of whatever I cooked the night before.

Breakfast is either Grapenuts or a slice of olive-herb bread with some cheddar.

I take mine, and bring pop-tarts for breakfast. Fortunately for me, I've always preferred them un-heated, right out of the package. Lunch is always a sandwich of some sort, soda, chips, and a yogurt or cookies. Pretty cheap, and varies slightly from week to week depending on what the deli counter has on sale.

I never bring lunch to work. I need the mental health of getting out of the office for 15-60 minutes a day.

If I don't skip breakfast, it's usually granola bars & a Coke. Lunch'll be leftovers, a sandwich, or soup if I feel really lazy.

I used to go out for lunch every day, but i got sick of chick-fil-a every day. The past couple of months I've been bringing my lunch 4 out of 5 days. Usually its a sandwich, small salad, some sort of fruit and water from the water cooler at work. I either skip breakfast or have a granola bar around 10:00am if I'm starting to get hungry.

The thing that sucks is my dinner often closely resembles my lunch.

I do. Lunch for me is usually either leftovers (we cook dinner at home a lot) or a sandwich, accompanied by some combination of a salad/fruit/yogurt/vegetables/chips/dessert. I try to pack my breakfast too, as getting that at work got expensive, and I'm more productive when I don't skip breakfast. I usually bring coffee in a large travel mug since I have a ~25 minute drive, then when I get to work I'll eat a granola bar, or cereal (bring a small tupperware with milk in it and a bag of cereal, combine and serve). Sometimes if we've made pancakes, a frittata, biscuits, or something similar on Sunday and we have leftovers, I bring that for my Monday breakfast.

awww, I was just kidding though, kiljadn
It's just weird that in my last position, I COULD work from home almost as much as I wanted to. But the need to physically go to our labs, test courses, etc... pretty much guaranteed that I had to be on campus almost every day.

Now, I no longer have a need to be in the labs THAT much... but since I'm relatively new at this facility, my manager wants me not to work at home (at least for a little while).

p.s., let me know if I can help out in any way. I can keep my eyes and ears open for you. I'd be willing to give you a rec. too

I take my lunch to work 4 days a week and eat out with my team on Wednesdays. Usually for breakfast I eat a 2 or 3 egg omelet in a tortilla wrap so I can eat it in the car on the way. (25 min commute each way)

I used to go out for lunch everyday. Then I got promoted and none of my colleagues I used to go out to lunch with wanted me to go to lunch with them everyday like before. Now they only invite me about once or twice a week (they still like me though ). At the same time I got married and my wife prepares my lunch everyday. For breakfast I take cereal bars or a toast, etc.

Eating out gets old pretty soon though!

I have to be at work early everyday (7am) so I pack everything the night before so i can just grab and go.

Breakfast varies but recently has been a slice of gluten free bread with some peanut butter on it. Either a cup or coffee or green tea with it.

Lunch is sometimes leftovers or a salad. Whatever I have around the house usually works.

Breakfast: Two Eggs and two pieces of toast, sometimes just toast if Im running late.

Lunch: Bean, rice, corn, and spinach burrito. I make all my rice for the week and mix it with a can of black beans and a can of corn and keep it in the fridge. I put that in a tortilla with parmesan cheese, hot sauce and spinach leaves. Then just mirowave it at work.

I had to turn to burritos to take some time off from sandwiches which is what I used to bring.

when i was in law school i also wanted a wife to pack my lunch

i packed my own but the dude's with wives always had much better leftovers and yummy looking things

whenever i'd bring mine it'd be basically the same thing everyday for a week just cause i would have to use stuff up.

packing lunch saves a lot of $$ though. packing lunch ftw. even though variety is nice once in awhile.
