as a gift as a kid i received one of those maybe 12" (plexi?)glass tubes with some oily liquid in it and a bunch of red and white and blue pieces of some shiny material, and one of the thousands of pieces was a tiny Waldo (Where's Waldo) and obviously the colors of his red and white shirt and blue jeans and hat would blend in with the other stuff...i think there might have been some blue "sand" in there too...more like a silt-like grain size, not as coarse as sand
