So you took it to a car wash?
Sounds like you took good care of it... 8/24/2010 6:01:06 PM |

The first and only time I rode it was today to wash it, charge the battery, and make sure the brake pads were bedded (they still need more bedding time). I don't own a power washer of my own.. 8/24/2010 6:12:59 PM |

Well that's good to know
With your own power washer, you might have been tempted to use it more often on your motorcycle8/25/2010 3:50:18 PM |

If it's the same one from the garage thread, it had some odd fuel/electrical gremlins, but nothing that seemed too complicated to fix. 8/25/2010 6:11:22 PM |

^No that was my honda RC51, which is still being a bitch. the bike didn't have a lean angle sensor when I first got it so it wouldnt start the guy didn't know what to do with it. He broke it off I assume when he dropped it and cracked the plastics. then he took off all the plastic and one of the front brakes. I replaced all that stuff and then did the chain/sprocket/pads/plugs while I was at it. 8/26/2010 1:18:05 AM |

Ah, gotcha. Purely cosmetic then. Did you ever get anywhere at all on the other one?

no. I've spent several days taking apart almost every electrical part on and swapping it with the matching part on another friend's rc51. the only part i havent tested yet is the fuel pump, but I can hear the pump prime so I figure it would start. 8/26/2010 8:49:32 AM |
