Agencies that require Architects. Looking to relocate, but not just yet, as I need to finish my last few exams, but DC is one of the few places the wife and I would really like to look at.

And if you're familiar at all with the business of Architecture in general, it's rough right now... I've seen positions in Dept of State, Defense Intelligence Agency, DHS, Army Corps of Engineers, etc. At this point, I'm open to all of them.

Well, I dunno a lot about architecture nor how the gov't hires them. Be careful with the State Dept though (they generally ship people all over the world, no matter the position)

Of course that is one of the main reasons I joined the State Dept...

But its ridiculously good. Or says my girlfriend. We have an amazing thai place in Charleston that she loves more than anything...and she said this place puts it to shame...which I think is entirely impossible, but I do trust her taste in food.

I will make reservations at this place next time I go to DC...this I'm sure of.

i'm sure i'll try it at some point, but it's just crazy that you have to make reservations a week ahead of time. pumpkin curry sounds amazing though.

what's your hood?

thai x-ing is good stuff, saw it from a bus one day and had no idea how hyped it was, it's literally in a guy's house (hence the restrictions)

pizzeria paradiso (either location) has great pizza, and certainly the best pizza/beer combo

I'm pretty glad that I am technically not going to be in D.C. but I am going to be close enough to a metro station that it won't matter

I'll be able to go wherever I want.
