They're interviewing Luego (pretty well known local band) on WKNC right now and they were talking about feedback they'd gotten on a song from people on TWW (they were spoken by name, so the band members must have known whoever it was). Then the topic strayed to the lead singer, who claims he tried to sign up on TWW three times but was "rejected" every time. The conversation soon led (jokingly) to "Screw WolfWeb" and was segued into the next song.

That was the same interview. They did say the band's name but the DJ that does the segment has a low speaking voice. I knew the band anyway so I didn't have to listen hard.

And, yea, VB knows how it goes. Decent band. They fill in for Bombadil, or have, who I like a lot more.

WKNC plays some decent music sometimes, but if they're interviewing a band they probably suuuuuuuuck. The interviews are worse than the fucking baseball games. Dumbasses never get the audio levels right either. Nothing says "revoke my FCC license" like dead air. The mainstream rap show sucks too. It reflects poorly on the university when the DJ's can't even speak english properly.

They're actually a pretty well known band in their genre. They've interviewed decent bands plenty of times, but the interviews are only good if they actually perform in the studio instead of trying to have a conversation with one of our DJs.
