On purpose, i chose to fly from san jose to minneapolis to atlanta to wilmington instead of from california to atlanta/charlotte to wilmington.

I woke up at 3:30am pst and will not get into wilmington until 10:30pm est with a 4 hour layover in min.

All because i wantes my delta skymiles. Grrrrrrr.

But, then again, i shoukd just be thankful that marvin austin decided to go to unc.

there are people who actually make a hobby of collecting miles. one of the most basic ways to do so is connecting in out of the way cities on the preferred airline.

Why is this a bad idea again? I like flying, I like seeing new places, and getting me to a free ticket that much faster. It's not like the internets is down in any of the major cities you listed.
