my toaster (which i have owned for 5+ years) apparently has visual indicators with prescriptive guidance for the bagel insertion orientation, which i have just now noticed

Back when I was in Raleigh I used to get the day old bagels (ater 2pm so they were BOGO) and stick them in the freezer, I did this like every week.

But I don't think I've had a bagel in 3 years.

yup- it's always had the set up for it, but they finally polished it up and started using it. I was very surprised by how quick it was, especially given how slow it can get inside. But yeah, they get you through pretty damn quick
