Anyone had encounters with these assholes?

They pulled a friend of mine over the other day and tackled her because she had a rear tail light out.

Normally, I wouldn't talk shit about cops. But I find this aggravating. Does anyone else have any other stories about Woodfin police?

yes, I've been detained for hours by Woodfin PD and Buncombe County Sheriffs then charged with trespassing on the campus of UNC-Asheville

however, I was a resident student AT UNC-Asheville at the time and nowhere was it posted not to trespass - later I met with the chief of police and he dropped my charges (and 28 others)

I have a friend that was held at gun point by a cop in Asheville because she was doing like 7 over

^ for serious, Woodfin PD is notorious for their zealousness

he's not allowed to own a gun because he beat the shit out of his wife who later committed suicide

I don't think there's anything wrong with the new police chief but I think the same dumbshit cops that joined during the old chiefs are still around. My friend's Dad spoke to the police chief and he said he'd "review the tapes." Or "figure out how to get his people out of trouble."
