Does anybody know of a good place around raleigh to do some good clean outdoor swimming? Im trying to find a good lake or river to escape the heat.  9/1/2010 1:50:52 PM

I've swam in Lake Raleigh a few times. It was pretty clean but they did find a dead body in it one time last year. 9/1/2010 3:04:33 PM |

Youd be hard pressed to find any lake, much less a swimming lake, that hasnt had a dead body in it
i use to wade fish in the spot behind the dam on lake raleigh..i dont know how it looks now or how the access is taken care of but that would be a damn good swimming hole as i remember it back in 06-07
